Tim Green – The Quiet Hour EP [Get Physical]
Run by the M.A.N.D.Y duo, Get Physical Music is one of the best labels in the world right now. GP has consistently released some of the best music, which makes it no surprise that just about every major dance floor maestro has charted their tunes. Aside from the quality of music, the iconic artwork that Get Physical uses has created somewhat of a brand awareness without having to hear the record. On this most recent release, GP features British producer Tim Green. Following up his prior Get Physical release ‘In Love’, which was a major hit (It was rereleased with remixes from Audiofly and Robert Dietz), Green presents deep heads with 3 new originals. Dubbed ‘The Quiet Hour EP’, the British producer features what I would consider a hybrid sound. Embellishing characteristics that are similar of Dirtybird productions (Who he has also released with), Green also includes that traditional disco feel. Another thing that is very noticeable with these 3 tracks is that one after another, the deep gets deeper. Confusing? Well what I am getting at is the the first track is somewhat lighter compared to the second, which is just a tad lighter then the third which creates multiple spectrums on the release. Showing his true abilities as the producer he is praised to be, Tim Green has struck gold again with this incredible EP.
