Lauren Lane – Lazer Eyez [Visionquest]

Lauren Lane is not your ordinary chick behind the decks. Unlike some of these girl DJs who are ex-models (Nervo/Rebecca + Fiona), Lauren is someone that was raised in the underground scene. From the young age of 16 to her long nights at Vinyl and Soundfactory, Lane amassed a network of friends who loved music as much as she did. It wasn’t until she took advantage of an opportunity to mess around with her DJ friend’s turntables that she thought it was possible to do it herself. After graduating college and moving to NYC from Philly, Lauren went to work and it quickly yielded results.

Now years later, Lane has played at Cielo, Pacha NYC and the BPM Festival to name a few. She is also set to play at EDC Puerto Rico as well as start a new residency in Los Angeles. As apart of her production releases, Lane has had a few projects in the works. Released on the infamous Visionquest imprint, Lauren presents her latest original, Lazer Eyez. One of three tracks on the various artist compilation called ‘Teen Collection Hot Jam ’96′, this new original properly portrays Lane’s amazing talent. Featuring vocals from dOP’s Jaw, Lazer Eyez is a groovy deep gem packed with emotion.
