Cameo Culture – Night Swimming EP [No.19 Music]
The long awaited freshman release from Brooklyn based DJ/producer Cameo Culture has finally arrived. Following recent appearances with Art Department, MANIK, Ryan Crosson and Shaun Reeves, there has been nothing but hype amongst deep heads for his No.19 EP. Johnny White has a keen ear when it comes to selecting who to feature on his experimental imprint. With this release it is very obvious why Cameo Culture was chosen. Embellishing a soulful sound infused with melodic grooves, Cameo presents two new originals on his ‘Night Swimming’ EP. Both tracks are prime examples of what chill summer music truly is. The combination of synth sounds, beautiful vocals and classic piano create what some consider music euphoria. Also included on this EP is a remix from American producer, Slow Hands. Featured on labels such as Wolf + Lamb and Let’s Play House, Slow Hands brings an interesting take on the track, Parts of You and I. As Johnny White continues with his escapade of releasing the most cutting edge music, expect to see more quality releases from producers like Cameo Culture.
